Ok so I haven't posted for awhile. It has been an interesting couple of weeks. I feel that I did fairly well over Christmas. I kept to my calories except on Christmas eve and Christmas. I also had my birthday (29th) and New years eve where I didn't track calories. On the 26th - the 29th I worked out really hard and did ok with my calories but not with what type of food I was consuming AKA junk food. So here I am making a clean start tomorrow! I will eat well tomorrow! I am also going to try to work out but I am still trying to find a babysitter so I can workout after work since it is a holiday and kids club is closed and Arlen is working.
I had my Body Fat done again today. I was down .4% which was ok considering it was Christmas. The last time I weighed in on 12/10 my weight: 183.6, Body Fat 28.8% Today My weight was 180.4, Body Fat 28.4%. I guess for December that is not that bad. Starting tomorrow it is a new year with new goals! I will post a listing of my New Years Resolutions!! I will mark them off of the list when I complete them!
This month is also going to be interesting because Arlen and I are moving into a house. This just means lots of time spent packing and such and a few days of more difficulty eating. I am really going to hit it this year!
I have been overweight most of my life, in December 2009 I decided to change that! See first post for much more information. I am currently 88lbs and over 22% less body fat than I was then. I am getting to my goals!

Today went really well, I worked out this morning and this evening and did pretty good food wise. I was a little high on Calories but that was also because of how much I worked out.

Today was a pretty good day considering. I did 45 min walking 21% incline this morning, I had intended to go back to the gym this evening and workout. But Kids Klub was closed so I didn't have a baby sitter, Arlen didn't get home until about and hour before we had to leave for my grandma's Thanksgiving at the Golden Corral tonight. I did really well eating out. I had a large Salad with a small steak and small piece of chicken. I also had a small bowl of Ice cream. Overall very successfull.

I am really frustrated with my weight. I know I have worked harder than numbers show. And I know not everything is about the number but this week I was really expecting something more after last week having a low number. So this week I did really well overall working out and eating. Today went about as expected. I could have made much worse decisions. It was my free day and Arlen's Birthday. I worked out hard this morning with several gym friends. We did abs, lower body and shoulder weights and biked. It was a great workout. this morning I made Arlen Breakfast of Bacon eggs and Crescent rolls, in little pastry like things. I had one without any cheese, and then a cinnamon Crescent roll. After our work out I had a PB shake at the gym and then we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I also had a small serving of cake and ice cream when we came home. So lots of Calories today, Actually about 2300 as far as I could calculate. I burned about 1000. I will be back on track tomorrow!

Week 5 Update
I feel I did really well workout wise this week. I had the goal to do 2 workouts everyday (Mon-Fri), I forgot that my husband had his Graduation party on Thursday night so I didn't make it back for a 2nd workout. and the gym closed at 6 on Friday because of our employee Christmas party, so I wasn't able to workout Friday night either. However I did do extra Friday morning and Saturday. I do feel however that I was able to kick up the intensity in the majority of my workouts.
I also was really strict this week with my diet. Even though I had a few events I still was great with my calories every day. I think the place I can improve the most is what type of calories I am getting, I think I got too much fat this week. Like I said I was following my diet this week, However I do have to improvise to make sure I am getting enough calories. My diet plan just says what I can have, I have to balance the amount for my caloric needs. So instead of choosing Almonds or Peanut butter I need to try to choose a lower fat option some of the time. I totaled up my percentages from the week as a way to track next week to see that I do better. Ideally I should be about 40% carbs 30-35% protein and less than 30% fat. I know that sounds like a high fat percentage but it was explained to me that protein cannot be used properly without fat, so percentage wise it should be 25-30% fats just mostly good fat. her are my percentages for this week

Today did not really go as planned. I didn't make it to the gym this evening so I didn't burn the calories I should have. Because of this I will be going to the gym a little earlier tomorrow and try to do 30-40 heavy min of cardio and a good weight workout! Tomorrow will be my free day since it is my work party and I am making some awesome treats. :) So plan is to eat pretty healthy most the day and enjoy my evening. We will see if I can walk in the morning :)

Today was a good day. I didn't go to the gym this morning, instead I planned to go in between my appointments for a quick weight workout. I did about 35 min of upper body weights, when Todd showed up and decided we were going to do HIIT training. I did body fat today. The numbers seemed a bit off, possibly from being a little dehydrated. I know I shouldn't have lost the muscle mass that it showed. I will check it again in 3 weeks but for now: 30.1% so down 1% in 3 weeks.

I did body fat today. The numbers seemed a bit off, possibly from being a little dehydrated. I know I shouldn't have lost the muscle mass that it showed. I will check it again in 3 weeks but for now: 30.1% so down 1% in 3 weeks.
This week: I will be good on my diet! I figure if I have 3 really strict weeks, then I can relax a little through the holidays when I am down with family.

Today went good and bad :) Work out was great with Todd, Colton and Elaine, We did shoulders, back and legs. for about and hour, and 1 hour of Cardio. Food wise, Arlen and I went to a movie, we had popcorn and some chocolate, which really raised my calories.

Today went pretty well. I was up at 4:45 to feed Tioni, and when she went back to sleep instead of going back to bed for 30 min until my alarm went off, I went to 5:30am spin class. It was a really good class. I just did 30 min of weights tonight.

This week I did pretty good but could have done some things better, I didn't work out on Tuesday, and on Thursday I only did one workout. I need to be better at going to the gym no matter what. Awesome work out today! I love working out with friends that push me harder than I can push myself! Elaine, Todd, Jared and I did a little over an hour of weights, then 45 min of cardio! What a great start to a Saturday morning! Tomorrow I am having dinner at my brothers house. I am going to stick to 1500 calories! It is going to be hard but I know I can do it. I also need to get a little more protein tomorrow than I did today.

Today was a fairly successful day. I did pretty well with my calories, However not all were good choices. I had made a German Chocolate cake for a friends birthday, So I did have a slice of that which has tons of calories. (but was yummy) I had 1400 calories today, and didn't workout since it was Sunday! I did not feel better today, Actually last night at about 10:30 I started throwing up. I have been dizzy all day, and throwing up. So I really didn't eat very much or keep down what I ate. I was also very inactive today.

New diet and Competition!
Starting today I am doing a 12week challenge with 2 friends. I am a competitive person so this should help me stay motivated! I will be doing a blog post EVERYDAY with what I ate and Calories burned doing exercise. I will have occasional modified free days meaning I can have a treat or splurge on dinner. I am going to try to keep those restricted to Family events and Holidays since it is that time of year! When I will be out of town I will try my best to make the best choices possible! Change Pictures May 30th-November 4th
So I HATE doing pictures, I feel they really don't show how hard I have worked, however I want to document my hard work. (oh and I look way better with clothes on! One day I will look good naked!)
Tomorrow is the start to a 12 week Challenge I have with 2 of my friends. I want to loose at least 20lbs by the end of it! I will have a detailed post about my plan and with more pictures and body stats.

Today was an interesting day, Tioni has a fever all night and today so it has been crazy. I was also at work a lot. I did 30 Min workout tonight on the bike. I consumed 1550 calories so still did pretty good however did not make healthy choices. I consumed 36% carbs and fat and only 27% protein. Tomorrow is my free day but I will still track something!

Watched super-size me today, it really makes you sick at how gross we are as a nation and how much we all eat out! I know Arlen and I have had times where we eat out a-lot. Refocusing again
Staring in the morning I AM going to re-focus. I have had a hard time the past few weeks being motivated to work hard due to lack of results. I do however know that because I am not being 100% dedicated I am not seeing the results that I want. I am hoping that by sticking to my diet and workout plan 100% I will be successful this month, which will leave me more dedicated in the future. My goal this month is to loose 6lbs. I want to drop a minimum of 2% Body fat by the next time I get tested. (beginning of November). This time will be a little but different. Arlen says he will eat what I eat for the meals we are together which will help a lot! I will be once again doing a small entry every day, and then a weekly post with how the week as a whole went. I really want this to work this time!

This morning, I had Chance do my Body Fat. I was at 32.4% (1 month ago i was at 33.3%) So losing 1% was good however I had gained another lbs muscle. So I am going to be changing my diet up a bit. Chance suggests I do a 40% carbs 30% protein and fat to help so I am not gaining muscle each time I will be shooting int he calorie range of 1600-1800. So that will start today. I know gaining muscle is good but I want to be loosing weight so hopefully this will help stabilize my lean mass, so everything I loose will be fat! My goal when I get my body fat tested again in 3-4 weeks is to loose 2%! I know that is way more than I have done in the past but I know that I can do it! that will also put me lower than I ever have been (since I have had it tested).
Friday:
I did cardio for 45 minuets. I didn't log my calories but we did have pizza that night so I am guessing about 1800-2000 Calories
Saturday and Sunday- No workouts I was at my Mom's house and didn't load calories.

Today went really well, Just to let everyone know, I am trying to do something that I can do and work with. I would like to stick to about 1500 calories kinda depending on my workouts today, I did spin which burns tons of calories, I consumed 1550 calories. A little higher than what I would intend but I am happy for it. Tomorrow morning I am going to do water aerobics with Zoey and 5:45 AM! then cardio when I get off work!

I didn't do the update yesterday like I had planned. I weighed 199lbs so up 2lbs from before. I have a cold this week, So it has been difficult to wake up in the morning, So I am trying to get my sleep. I did spin on Tuesday and last night I did 40 minuets weights and 20 Minuets Cardio. I will go to the gym tonight after work and do lower body weights and cardio. My main goal this next week is to start tracking my calories again, and stay under 1500 calories. ~Tashina

New Goals
So the last few weeks have been really rough. I have not been getting enough sleep and have been working way more than I want to, because of that I have been having a hard time working out hard. When I don't workout I seem to make bad food choices, However when I have been doing 2 a days and being really tired I have still not made the best choices. I feel so frustrated because overall I have been doing really well (until this last week) considering my circumstances and I have not seen any weight loss. What is the point of working out twice a day if I am not seeing results (that is my bad attitude opinion) However I know I feel better when I do 2 a days besides being exhausted. I know I shouldn't make excuses because I still have to make good choices, however it really has been really difficult. Because of all of the above "excuses" this is my new plan.
I really don't think working out at 6am every morning is something I can continue to do until Tioni starts sleeping better. I know that I can do a Monday morning no problem because, I don't work and can have time to nap if Tioni does not sleep at night. I now need to stay up with her most nights because Arlen is in school, and has to be up. I will just do spin and 30 minuets of weights, on Tuesday evening. I will do water aerobics on Wednesday morning at 5:45am with Zoey, I know this may be rough but I think it is possible. I will try to do at least 45 minuets Cardio on Wednesdays when I get off work. Thursday morning I will continue to work out with Zoey, Thursday evenings I will still go do Cardio when I get off work. Friday I will do weights and Cardio after work. Saturdays I will try to get in one cardio session but it will really depend on what my work schedule ends up like.
If Tioni is sleeping well and I wake up (like I usually do at 5am) I might work out a few other days in the morning But I don't want to make unrealistic plans. Today did not go as planned, Tioni was up last night til about 5am then I had to be up at 7, So with 2 hours of sleep I was in no mood to work out. I was going to go to spin this afternoon but by the time I finished my last massage my headache was so bad I really just needed to take a nap. So instead of going to spin I took a nap. Tomorrow morning Zoey has talked me into going to water aerobics, but I will not be able to work out besides that. Today was Arlen's first day back at school, it went well, I went to the gym at 6am did 30 minuets lower body weights and 30 Minuets biking. Then came home and got everything ready for him to go to school. After I packed his lunch and had an egg white shake I laid back down to try to add to my 4 hours of sleep. I know not getting enough sleep has been hard on me the last few weeks as Tioni has been teething. I went back to the gym when Arlen got home from work at 4:30 and did 25 minuets on the bike and 35 minuets on the Treadmill at a 15% incline. Today I consumed about 1475 Calories and Burned about 1000 calories. Overall a successful day! Tomorrow morning will be upper body weights and light cardio and Spin in the evening. Saturday was an ok day, I knew I wouldn't be able to work out but I did eat fairly well, Sunday I also ate fairly well, Starting tomorrow I will be back to my strict diet all week! The diet Todd wrote for me for the next 2 weeks is one I really think I will be better at keeping. I also hope that with school starting tomorrow, our family will be on a better schedule which will also help with eating. I am also planning on doing 2 work outs every day, except Saturday. Weekly update
Today was a good day, I was a little low on calories today only having about 1300, however I only worked out once burning approximately 350 Calories. I have a new diet for the next 2 weeks that I am actually excited about.
This past week I only lost 1lb, I was a little disappointed in myself. I went in and had my body fat tested again today, it made me feel a little better. I was up a pound of muscle, which means I lost 2lbs of fat. I was down a total of 0.6% Body fat, which is better than nothing. I am going to do better this week!! I have done well at working out this past week, now I need to focus on eating well! ~Tashina

Today was great! I was really tired this morning because I was up with the baby from 1am to 445, So I went to the gym about 5:30 did 30 Min of weights (back,chest, tri's) and 30 Min of light biking. This evening I went to Spin! It was a really good class tonight, I was sweating much more than normal. I ate fairly well today, had too many carbs in comparison to protein, but I did stick to 1500 Calories. and burned an estimated 1400 Calories! (spin was the killer!) I might have a little bit more to eat tonight like another 100 calories or so when Arlen gets home. But overall a very productive day. Tomorrow will be interesting, I will workout in the morning but depending on how my Appointments go tomorrow, I may not be able to make it in the evening. If not I will just have a 1/2 rest day. I think I will do light legs and hard Cardio in the morning so if I don't make it back it will be done. ~Tashina

Today was a good way to start off the week. I did well with my diet and worked out twice. This morning I did 35 min Weights Lower body and Tri's, then 5 Min Rowing and 25 Min on the bike. Today was great! I did 30 minuets of upper body weights this morning along with 30 Minuets on the treadmill incline 12%. Tonight I went back after work and did 10 minuets Rowing, 15 Minuets stair stepper and 15 20 Minuets on the treadmill incline 5%. Consumed an estimated 1525 Calories, burned about 1151 Calories. Back on track
Last week was horrible, Tioni had a cold is teething, and has an ear infection, so I was getting about 3 hours of sleep at night. I made it to the gym several times but my eating was way off. I didn't even track it. This week is a new week! I started out with a good hour workout this morning, and I will do all my workouts for the week. I would say this has been a rough week, I want to name the reasons it was hard but it really doesn't matter. I have discovered that life always seems to happen and I need to be better at making some things a priority, such as cooking my bulk food on Sunday or Monday which just didn't happen this week. These are all excuses and even if they are good excuses, they still are stopping me from getting where I want to go. Now this week wasn't really that bad, I didn't loose any weight but I didn't gain it either. I had my body fat done yesterday and in the past 3 weeks I have lost 3% so I can't complain against that. I know I have worked hard but I know where my issues are.
I know this week coming up is going to be a little difficult, I have a baptism to go to, so we will be out of town Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I will work out Saturday morning before we go and work out Monday when I get home. My plan to make this a better weekend than usual is to take some food with me. I plan to take my egg whites so I can have shakes Sunday and Monday morning, these are really filling and should help make sure I get a good amount of protein each day. My overall goal is to be under 1600 Calories each day, and to try to make good choices with those calories.
I would of course love to loose more weight this week, but I am not sure how much I will be capable of loosing but I just want to go down! I was really pleased to loose my 3% body fat which seemed to validate all my hard work! Big thanks to Chance for being my favorite "pincher" (body fat tester) at the gym! ~Tashina

7/30 and 7/31
Monday didn't go as planned, Tioni was up til 4am so when my alarm went off at 4:15 to go to the gym I didn't go. I was going to get in a 90 min workout before my massage at 6pm, But had an massage that needed scheduled before that appointment, I had time to do a 30 min workout. I also consumed about 1700 calories (movie popcorn) which didn't help.
Tuesday: Went well :) I worked out this morning at 5:30am doing 40 min weights 20 Min light Cardio. this evening I went to spin, so another hour of cardio. So today consumed about 1450 Calories burned 975!

Today was a good day, I consumed about 1400 calories. Tomorrow I will finish my meals for the week, I will make my Lettuce pockets and rice so I have most stuff put together. I haven't had any red meat for the last 3 weeks so my moose steak was really good! Tomorrow, goal is to work out twice, and stick to my diet except for 1 treat when we go to the movie. (since we only go about twice a year together and I so do love popcorn) I probably will make my own to sneak in so it is less calories. ~Tashina

Today went pretty well I work out this morning with Zoey. We did about 40 min weights and 15 min cardio. I had a busier day at work and didn't end up going back to the gym tonight. Week 8 update
This was a really good week. I weighed in today at 198! So -3lbs this week. I worked out really hard and started logging my calories again. That really makes me think about what I am eating if I am not following my diet. I know I worked out really hard this week, and tried to focus on doing more cardio. I will continue that this week. Today was a good day. I did go to the gym twice, this morning I did 30 minuets of weights and 30 minuets of Cardio (walking uphill between a 6 and 19 incline) This evening I did 40 minuets on the bike (between 4 and 14 resistance). So over all 70 minuets of Cardio and 30 Minuets of weights. I had one free meal today but tried to stay close to my calories. I consumed 1530 calories and burned approximately 870 calories. Woke up this morning and went to the gym at 6am. Did Hit training for 30 min then high resistance biking for 30 min. I also went back after work and did 30 min of weights mostly lower body. I ate fairly well, It was so hot this evening I didn't feel like really cooking rice like I should so I skipped that meal. I am going to start logging my totals off what Livestrong.com Myplate says my calories and workouts are: consumed 1211 calories burned 706 calories. I am going to go to spin in the morning! ~Tashina
Week 7 update
This week I did not make my goal. I did however loose 2lbs so I am now 201lbs. I think my problem this week was inconsistency. I am defiantly going to work on that this week. I am going to count yesterday as my cheat day already so I will stick to my diet 100% (or as close as possible with work). I need to focus on doing more cardio. That will be my goal for this coming week! Starting today minimum of 1 hour cardio at least 4 days this week. ~Tashina

Today was a wonderful free day! So fun to go out to ice cream with Megan and Kati! This morning I was going to do upper body weights, I finished 2 back exercises when Zoey came over, her normal partner hadn't shown up so I did lower body weights with her I am already feeling it! Then about 10 minuets of HIIT training 30 second intervals. This afternoon I went back and did 45 minuets of cardio. Total work out to day was my 2 hours I had set as my goal! So goal for tomorrow: 100% on my diet, and 2 hours of workouts. ~Tashina

Toady was a great day! I stuck to my diet 100% !! I also was able to figure out my basic long term goal. I really like to stick to short term goals because the long term seems so far off but I would ultimately like to get my body fat down to between 15 and 18%. It is so hard to know what weight that would be but with my current lean mass I would figure around 140 to 150 lbs. So now that is in writing I will be focusing on my short term goals which I set weekly and daily. Tomorrow my goal is to work out twice (2 full hours)! ~Tashina

So crazy day, I did not follow my meal plan I did however work out hard before work so that was a plus. My in-laws came up to fix the car and were just finishing when I got off work at 2 so I ran over to my brothers house where my car was, we ended up not coming home til 7:30 PM I took them out to eat for their trouble of coming up and where I made wise choices it still was not my meal plan. Tomorrow I have no excuse! I will do it! However I will not be working out since it is Sunday. and on Monday it is my free day, However I will try to be a little better because I wasn't perfect this week. 7/13/12 (Friday)
Where to start, today I did not work out. I didn't even really keep my diet like I wanted to. I went to work at 12:30 after eating one meal, planning on eating one at work and coming home to check on the baby and having one meal then having another at 8 when I got off work. I was not able to come home I didn't have time between appointments. Then I got home at 7:50 and went to run the babysitter home, on the way my car broke down...... I got home 2 hours later, by the time I fed the now crying baby (she was so good right until the end) I really didn't feel like cooking. I ended up still being healthier and just had an egg white shake so overall I really only had 1400 calories or so composed of 37% protein 32% carbs and 31% fat (most coming from Peanut butter) So although I wasn't horrible and ate things I should I still didn't have enough veggies and had too much fat. Tomorrow shall be better. I will go work out before work, and I will see depending on what happens with my car if I can go twice as I planned. I will however eat from my meal plan! ~Tashina

Today was a tough day, I worked out at 6am with Zoey, 35 minuets weights 20 min Cardio. I had planned to go to the gym in between my appointments but ended up without any large enough breaks to run over the the gym. I did do about 20 minuets of strength exercises at home however so I kinda worked out twice just not like I would like. I did well with my diet, I was really hungry last night to I added 1/2 of and extra egg white shake trying to keep my diet healthy. I also was able to go over to the gym and have Chance (personal trainer) take my body fat. I was at 36.7% which was a little higher than the 35% I was hoping to be at or below. Goal for Friday work out once. Arlen is working an afternoon shift and all night so it will be harder for me to make the gym but I should have time right after my appointments. If not I will do 30 min of Cardio at my house. ~Tashina

Week 6 update
It is so frustrating not having things go as planned and not seeing the results I know I have worked for. Last week did not go as planned. I went out of town Friday evening, and ended up being gone til Monday evening. It was great to be with my family but it is so hard to be gone and away from the gym and my own food (love my mom's food however that is most of my problem). I started my new diet on Tuesday and have so far lost the weight I had gained over the weekend to put me back to where I was last week. I am going to set a pretty good goal for next week. I want to be under 200lbs that would be 3lbs but I know I can do it with this diet I am on. On the workout end I want to do 2 a day workouts 3 times this week and work out at least 6 days out of the week only missing Sunday. I don't have any plans coming up this week so I should be back on my routine. ~Tashina

I met my goal today! I worked out twice, 30 min of weights and 45 min of cardio. I just had to work out in between appointments today. I also stuck with my diet. I did make sweet potato french fries they were actually really good. definitely different than REAL potatoes but I think I can survive on them. ~Tashina

I just came home this evening after waiting for my car part to get here. So I wasn't able to work out today however, I did go grocery shopping for the week. I am starting a new diet that was written by a friend. It is set up to be really strict 6 days a week and have one free day. I am starting that today. My free day will be next Monday for the week. I am still going to do my week updates on Thursday. I will be trying to do 2 work outs a day as much as possible. However I know I will not be at the gym in the AM SO tomorrow Goal is to go to spin tomorrow afternoon and do 30 min lifting afterwards. ~Tashina

So today was rather crazy I worked out this morning with Zoey. I did 30 min cardio and 30 min upper body weights. I gave a massage in the morning then came home and had a protein shake. I had to be back at work at 2 for another massage so I had a can of tuna since I would be coming home after I massaged and worked out, just my luck that I was booked with 2 other appointments after that so, I ended up at work until 6:30 and didn't work out. I came home for dinner and didn't end up going back to the gym. I met my calorie goal but should have gone back to the gym. I am going to be heading out of town tomorrow night or early Saturday morning so this will be my last post this week. Starting Monday I will be starting a new meal plan that was written for me, so I will have an update then! I will do my best to make good choices at my family reunion this weekend. ~Tashina
Week 5 update
Week # 5 went a little better, I was very good at working out however my diet was a bit lacking. I was down 1 lbs to 203 this week which is a step in the right direction. Today was an awesome day. I worked out this morning for and hour and again this afternoon for 45 minuets. This evening I am doing some resistance training at home for a total of 2 hours and 15 min or working out today. I had a total of about 1850 calories. Tomorrow goal is to workout in the am and go to spin class at 530.

Today was a rough day, Tioni has a cold so didn't sleep the best since she has a cold. I decided to suck it up and go to the gym this morning anyway! Zoey and I did 40 min of weights and about 15 min of Cardio. I then went to work at 9 and didn't get home til about 6, Now I just ate dinner and have to go back for a meeting at 9. I thought about going back to do 30 more min of cardio but It has been an crazy long day and I want to spend time with my baby. I was really busy at work so think I got in enough movement today. Today was a different day, I worked form 2 to 5:30 then did chair massage at an event from 6 to 8:30. I meant to go to the gym and work out. But I was hot and in the sun for 2 hours and was really hungry. I was pretty low on calories today, Lower than I know I should be so maybe it was good I didnt work out. Zoey and I went to the gym at 6am did upper body weights about 40 min and twenty min of Cardio (including hitt intervals which I haven't done since before I was pregnant) I intended to go to the gym again tonight but had a long day at work and a friends birthday party to go to. So today calorie wise I honestly don't know, I don't think it was too high but we went to lunch with Arlen's Grandma who was visiting from Minnesota and had birthday cake so tomorrow I will count my Calories and be under 1800! ~Tashina
Week 3 Review
This week I did not have the results I wanted yet I somewhat expected that, I am still at 204 Where I was last week. I know I had a stressful week and my efforts were not 100% there but this week will be better! I want to make a more concrete effort to do cardio this week, not just lazy cardio but good cardio!
